Basics & Beyond Real Estate Institute (formerly CBPS RE Institute) is registered with the Washington Department of Licensing and complies with the requirements and educational standards established by the Real Estate Commission. When we were initially founded in 1994, we limited our educational menu to the state required pre-licensing course, Real Estate Fundamentals. Since 1999, however, we have continued to develop a variety of courses and methods of delivery. Our certified instructor with over 10 years real estate experience not only teaches classes in her home office in Port Orchard but travels to sites throughout the state offering a variety of live instructional classes. A minimum of ten students are required and depending on the class location, overnight accommodations may be required.

Although only a limited number of correspondence courses are currently available, we continue to work on adding others to our menu. Internet-based training appeals to many of our students as it allows them to complete their required continuing education at their convenience. A growing list of courses is now available for those agents who enjoy the independence of this delivery method.
